Deposit: $27.50
Balance: $40.26

So I got paid from my second job today. $53.00! $25.50 on some groceries and the rest right into the old Loose Change Account. Woooo hooooo

    Don't mean to put your feet to the fire but you said..."I am going to put 1/2 of the earned income in my savings account the other 1/2 in my Loose Change fund. If I can consistently bring in $200.00 per month minimum, that will be a nice little chunk of change come Christmas time."

    I'm guessing you track spending categories but if you spend half of earnings for groceries today and something else the next time the elderly gentleman pays you, you'll not have the cash anticipated for Christmas.

    Hey Snafu....I get exactly what you are saying. I pondered this very move while driving home this evening. I truly want to follow my own 50/50 rule. Sometimes my lofty goals need some fine tuning as time goes on, however, by and large I think I am walking a pretty solid, dedicated path. I promise however, to walk the talk to the best of my ability. Jamie
