What is the Minimum you Apply to your Mortgage Pre-Pay?

April 4th, 2014 at 12:33 am

So, as you all know, my loose change is going toward my mortgage principal. My question is: what is the minimum you apply to your principal? Should I wait until I have $20.00, $25.00, $50.00???

I know every penny counts, truly I do, however, do you have a minimum amount?

My two lowest payments were $3 and $7.80 in few months. I hope that helps!

I pay $100 over my mortgage bill every month. Has not really made much of a difference in amount owed- but also not really "feeling it" as lost money.

Just send in whatever you have once a month when you make your regular payment. It all counts.
