Need Help with a Side Bar Ticker

February 3rd, 2009 at 01:51 am

Hello SA Family,

I would really like to put a side bar ticker up to show the progress I am making with paying off my mortgage.

I thought it would be easy to do, but, I am not really good with computer things (always had my secretary or IT Department do it for me).

If someone could give me a step by step tutor, I would be very grateful. God bless.

    Go to tickerfactory.com
    Click debt reduction tracker
Select a ruler(16 pages to choose from), Click next
    Select a slider, click next
    Type in a PIN
    Type in initial debt
Type in debt paid ( or leave zero...but this is where you will update later)
    Type in personal message
    Click Save
Next page shows your ticker, click small for size
Copy the code in the bbCode box

Now...back on your blogs control panel, go to settings and paste the code under your author info. Click Update.

Later when you want to add in a payment...only principal, click right on your ticker in your sidebar. This will take you back to your ticker at the ticker factory website. Just update on the site and it will also update on your blog!! Cool, huh?

Try the html code instead of the bbcode. I guess I was wrong on that part. Sorry!!!

For any person(s) reading or thinking of taking advice from JT Shoemaker you need to beware. This guy is a crook plain and simple. He is not a good business man and will lie, steal and cheat to get what he wants.

His newly found faith is laughable to those that personally know him. He is probably the furthest thing from what a truly faithful person should be. Most won't realize it until its too late as he is a con man and will fool people not in the know as he can put on great acting performances.

He is a used car salesman and has severe anger control problems and any "help" he ever lends always has strings attached or is done only to somehow personally benefit him.

Don't fall for his act and beware of listening to any "advice" he offers. You'll most likely be sorry if you do.
